Astrological events don’t rule our lives, but inform us of the background energies that constantly bath us. As humans, we tend to resonate to what is around us, often unconsciously. For example, if I stand on a street corner and suddenly feel the urge for a donut, I can bet there is an aroma wafting my way from a local bakery. I just need to ask myself if the urge is really mine.

So it is with the larger background energies that certain astrological events bring into our awareness. The movement of Pluto into Capricorn for these spring months is merely the crossing of a threshold we have been flirting with for nearly a year. Looking forward, I would say that the US in particular, and all that has grown from our government, is up for review. Systems we take for granted are going to change. And the reason that they can change is because we, the people, have already changed.

As I understand it, the last time Pluto was in Capricorn was during the founding of the US, about 1762-1779. So all that was built in that time period is now ready to be rebuilt.

Remember, these next years into 2024 (when Pluto moves out of Capricorn) are about releasing what we as a nation (in the US) and in the world (as a planet) have held as agreements over the past two hundred years. Naturally that includes all of the agreements we have internally, as well. And everything that has grown from our agreements as citizens of the US and as humans living upon the planet is up for review.

Affecting the Heart of the United States’ Consciousness

Several years ago I wondered if I shouldn’t leave the United States and live elsewhere. Politics were not favorable to my way of living, and I didn’t feel that what I saw externally in society reflected my inner Spiritual life. Then, I had a conversation with my guides. Well, actually, they sat me down and had a conversation with me.

Here is the crux of what they told me: Each of us has agreed to maintain a level of Spiritual awareness while in human form. That quality of awareness resonates out to those physically around us, and also to those with which we share a connective thread; such as friends, family, the town we live in, our ethnic group, etc. One of those layers of connective threads reflects my connection to all who live, work or were born in the United States. I am a part of the consciousness and unconsciousness of the United States, as well as the planet.

As a resident and citizen of the United States, I have access to this network of connective threads between every person in the US. My meditations, my ‘ah-ha’ moments and my vibrational quality move out in a specific manner to all others living here. As I stay connected to this network, I can feel it sway from forward-looking, embracing the changes to come, and then holding back, holding onto what ‘always worked before’ as (channel) Mary puts it. “Living in the US lets me experience my connective threads more deeply, and allows me to fulfill my agreement to others holding similar awakened consciousnesses within the country.”

After the last presidential elections in 2004, I was told by my guides, very clearly, that the only way elections in the US would reflect change was when the golden mean (68%) of the population embraced the new level of consciousness. Until then, external forms, including election results, would remain unchanged.

How can we support this change?

As the hearts of those of us in the United States open, fear dissipates.The structures and beliefs we have believed can be revisited within the context of love, not fear. As we each do this, we build new governing systems, not just in the United States, but in our shared world. The cosmos is cheering us on with various energetic events. Now is the time!
