the study of dinosaurs has been limited to fossilized bones. Now, researchers have recovered 70 million-year-old soft tissue, including what may be blood vessels and cells, from a Trannosaurus rex. Could we be looking forward to a real Jurassic Park? MSNBC

Ex-Mexican prez: “Yes, there will be an amero” Vicente Fox, made an astounding admission on CNN’s Larry King Live when he acknowledged the plan for a NAFTA single currency, a “euro-dollar” as King labeled it. 3. Drug arrests have tripled over the past 25 years as a result of the “war on drugs”. Almost a half a million people are locked up for a drug offense. 4. A long-lost text by the ancient Greek mathematician, Archimedes shows that he had begun to discover the principles of calculus. The top layer of writing in this 700-year-old book describes Christian prayers. A new book, Processus contra Templarios, will be published by the Vatican’s Secret Archive on Oct 25, and promises to restore the reputation of the Templars, whose leaders were burned as heretics when the order was dissolved in 1314. 6. China’s Loch Ness monster has been sighted. Not just one, but more than a dozen huge creatures can be seen churning across Lake Kanasi in remote western China, leaving a foamy wake more like an enormous motorboat than a big fish.
