He began to study the ancient practice of Sun gazing. After researching
this over the years, he re-discovered the secrets of sun gazing and
developed a safe method for sun gazing that anyone can do. This method
is known as the HRM Phenomenon.
Since June 18th, 1995, Hira Ratan Manek continues to live mostly
on sun energy and water. Occasionally, for hospitality and social
purposes, he drinks tea, coffee and buttermilk. Through his experimentation
with Sun gazing, he has proven that our bodies are ultimately capable
of deriving our sustenance directly from the sun, earth air and water
rather than from food.
To illustrate… a meat eater can eat the meat of a beef steer
or drink the milk of a cow; however, these animals derive their nutrition
from eating grains and grass. Humans can instead eat the grains and
vegetable matter themselves instead of eating the beef and drinking
the milk. To take this a step further, the grains and vegetables
obtain their nutrition from the sun and HRM has demonstrated that
the human being can derive their nutrition directly from the sun
instead of eating the grains and vegetables.
Safe Sun gazing Practice
Sun gazing is a one-time practice of your lifetime usually for a
period of 9 months. After 9 months you cease Sun gazing and instead
begin to walk barefoot on bare ground for 45 minutes a day for the
rest of your life or once you work up to 45 minutes of Sun gazing
per day, you can cut back a minute per day until you reach back to
15 minutes per day at which point you can simply sun gaze for 15
minutes twice a week for a lifetime in order to remain solar charged
and operate at the highest potential that human development is capable
of.
The practice entails looking at the rising or setting sun, barefoot on bare ground,
on dirt or sand, not on grass or pavement or from a building or tree. Sun gaze
only one time per day only during the safe hours.
Begin with 10 seconds the
first day and increase by 10 second increments daily until you reach
45 minutes using a stopwatch. No harm will come to your eyes during
the morning and evening safe hours. The safe hours are anytime within
a 1-hour window after sunrise or anytime within a 1-hr window before
sunset. It is scientifically proven beyond a reasonable doubt that
during these times, one is free from UV and IR rays’ exposure,
which is harmful to your eyes. To determine the timings of sunrise
or sunset, you can check the local newspaper or internet weather
web site such as www.weather.com which also
lists the UV Index as 0 during these safe times. If you have to wear
corrective lenses for your eyesight, you may expect to receive improvement
in your vision from the practice of Sun gazing.
For those who cannot initially sun gaze during the safe periods,
sunbathing is an effective method for receiving the sun energy at
a slower pace until one is able to sun gaze. The best time to take
a sunbath is when the UV index is lower such as 2 or below. This
usually occurs within the 2-hour window after sunrise or before sunset.
Sun bathing during the day is to be avoided, except for during the
winter months, when the UV index usually remains at 2 all throughout
the day which is safe for sunbathing. Also do not use sunscreen.
When body gets heated up you perspire and sweat is a waste product
and needs to go out of the body. When you are painted or coated with
lotions and creams -- they get degenerated and the chemicals enter
your body. It is our malpractice -our wrong use- why blame the sun
for skin cancers?
This is a very brief explanation of the Sun gazing practice and is
by no means a complete description of the procedure.
