Earth time, as an experience
on the other hand, is evidently restricted within the physical
plane and “one” of these so called lives. This one
life, the living of one’s time within one physical body,
is called a generation, a word that has a common root and meaning
(time) with genesis.
Every human being understands earth time and anyone reading this
article can experience it right now. Earth time is the very essence
of what humans don’t have or that which is not enough. To
explain further, no human being has enough time to do all of the
ideas that his or her imagination can produce. In the world of
facts joined with the experience of human living, it takes Time,
earth time, for a human being to eat, sleep, practice hygiene and
then work, and have a family, a social life, and personal interests.
And within that last sentence, where is the heavenly or spiritual
time?
In short, earth time is squeezed from every side and we don’t
have enough of it. Any time you move out into the world, someone
or something will demand your attention. Attention takes time.
Earth time then is the very essence of scarcity itself and the
felt experience of lack, or scarcity, is death or dying. The “fear
of God” can be interpreted in this same language because
each being has a vague or haunting fear that time is going to run
out on them before they get it together. And that meaning of getting-it-together
is subjective to everyone. Human memory is designed to vibrate
to this “fear of God” because it is replete with guilt
and instances of bad judgment: “remember the time when…”
Has the soul traveled through time, taking on the form of different
physical bodies in the course of the generations of time? If so,
according to spiritual teachings in the Vedas and the Bible, the
availability of spiritual knowledge has been on the decline for
many generations. The very existence of this knowledge in written
form declares that there has been a decline in spiritual values
because this knowledge was taught by oral tradition, coming into
each new generation of students through a guru. The decline in
spiritual values has been so absolute that during some of those
generations, a person could have been persecuted and put to death
for possessing true knowledge. Of course, many innocent people
even lacking knowledge have died and been tortured in the fundamentalist
frenzy for exterminating that which is different.
These ancient spiritual teachings inform us that there are four
distinct Aeons or Ages. In our language, these Ages are referred
to as the Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Iron Ages. We find our current
generation in the lowest of these Ages, “the times that have
tried men’s souls.” The Vedic teachings call this Age
the Kali Yuga (Yuga means age) after the name of the Goddess Kali,
the consort of the Supreme Lord Shiva. She, in her fierce form,
can surely invoke the “fear of God”, and she is the
bringer of death to the ego, or the self-centered nature. |
This image of Kali then appears in order to show
us that this Dark Age will be one of ego centric, self-absorbed
behavior that splits the unity of the Divine Nature. This age will
be dominated by the human feelings of alienation and separation
and inhumane acts of violence on Nature and man. But knowledge
of the Ages of Time shows us that there has been a Golden Age of
spirituality and there will be again. We must work our way back
up Jacob’s ladder, to the higher vibratory rates of each
succeeding Age. Creative human beings do not wait on time, they
must lead it. In order for the collective mind to move out of the
Dark Age, individuals must correct their own vibratory rates in
order to achieve their own personal desires that are realized or
revealed to them only in heavenly time.
Suppose these psychological axioms are true:
Earth time is full of problems,
Heaven is not.
Earth time feels like struggle and suffering,
Heaven does not.
Earth time is often lonely even among friends,
Heaven is not.
By Spiritual Reason then:
Heaven is the subject and the subjective feeling of correction back to one’s
true center, which is direct experiential contact with one’s Inner Being.
This corrective action can only occur now. “Now”, as a moment of
time, exists in eternity, thus allowing the heavenly body, or astral body to
navigate through time because it transcends earth time. It is the gate of time
traveling, or astral traveling, or remote viewing, or clairvoyance.
The lower five chakras are associated with earth time through their proximity
to the spinal energy. As the energy bridges upward out of the spine at the medulla
oblongata toward the middle of the forehead of the sixth chakra, the meditator
can experience “now” and the corrective function of aligning the
vibratory rate to the individual’s Inner Being. This subjective feeling
of the bridging function is called Heaven.
