Changing the World With Intention

by Tricia McCannon

Last month I shared with our readers a taste of the enormous planetary changes sweeping our solar system today. While most people remain blithely unaware of these geophysical changes, except as they apply to their particular area of the country, others cannot help but notice the increase of tropical storms, hurricanes, earthquakes and volcanic activities. Florida is a case in point. Brave citizens who live on the edge. They see the rise in water levels, storms and turbulence on a monthly and yearly scale, and they are hard pressed to know whether to rebuild or to run for cover.
I have also shared with you just a touch of the enormous knowledge of the indigenous Elders, including a few words on the Mayan Calendar, a system that has accurately foretold the social and political history of the world during the last 5000 years. The Mayan Calendar addresses “Galactic Time” as well as historical cycles, something we will be looking into in greater depth with the revelations of the Hunab Ku and the One World Tree.
The Mayans understand that the Universe is a vast web of interconnected energies, (Spider Woman to the Native Americans) that exists on different hierarchical levels. It is imperative to a new world-view. It is, in fact, what mystics and shamans have told us for centuries. We are not alone, there are many dimensions simultaneously existing within our own that we only occasionally tune into. But just as we can affect them, they can affect us. Incidentally, this great “galactic web” theory dovetails perfectly with the recent discoveries in quantum physics that scientists have made about the nature of reality itself.
Also the recent experiments revealed by Masaru Emoto in the best selling book, “The Hidden Messages of Water” gives us a clue as to how the atomic and subatomic world rearranges itself according to our intentions and thoughts. Through the use of sound and mind, water molecules form patterns of pristine beauty, responding to words like “I love you” and “thank you.” Conversely words of negativity produce chaotic patterns in the world around us.
Over the past century, the innovative field of Cymatics, started by Hans Jenny has led to enormous changes in vibrational healing. Still being resisted by the allopathic medicine of the West, but embraced by other countries, Cymatics focuses on the nature of sound as the underlying principle that organizes all matter. The harmonic frequencies to every organ of the body have been established. Thus the use of sound can bring the sick or injured organ into wellness, relieving the “disharmonic” of the disease.
As we return to the theme of galactic connection and the great web of life we are reminded of the words of Chief Luther Standing Bear from the great Sioux Nation. “From Wakan Tanka, the Great Spirit, there came a great unifying life force that flowed in and through all things, the flowers of the plains, the blowing winds, rocks, trees, birds, animals, and it was the same force that had been breathed into the first man. Thus all things were kindred and were brought together by the same Great Mystery.”
We must begin any transformation of consciousness by asking how we can change our way of thinking to move into this greater level of Unity awareness. Without knowing that each part of us affects every other part, how can we make intelligent choices for ourselves or our world? Just like stumping our big toe, or breaking our little finger has an affect on our whole bodies so does the damage that we do affect the whole of the planetary balance. This means that what I do affects not only me, but others as well. It is my love or my hate, my anger or my peace that affects my children, my pets, my co-workers and my spouse. The joy I bring into the world does make a difference. The goodness I show does matter. Conversely the judgment that I project onto “the other,” (whoever he or she may be, Moslem, Christian, Jew or New Ager) not only affects me internally, but actually increases the separation in the world.
It is in separation that we discover the disowning of our own Shadow, our own “less than perfect parts,” our anger, our bitterness and our judgment reflected back to us. And while none of us are perfect at one level of reality, we are all divinely perfect at another. By making as many conscious choices to practice “Radical Forgiveness” and release that judgment and separation we can contribute on a daily level to the healing of our world.
