The SS Invades the US

The latest in the Homeland Security debacle is the federal government’s usurping of states’ rights. The states have regulated things like driver’s licenses for years, and if you read the article in last month’s Oracle 20/20 magazine entitled Your Papers Please, you will soon realize that this is no more!

Back in the 1970s, I thought that it was the handiest thing ever to have my social security number (I’ll refer to it as SS#) the same as my driver’s license number and have it pre-printed on all my checks to make things easy. This was voluntary, but we were all informed by the “powers that be” that this was not a good idea. The practice of using the SS# on driver’s licenses was declared unsafe and was discontinued, due to the possibilities of identity theft.

If you research its history, you will find that this SS# was never intended to be used as identification. This rule is found in the original legislation that created the SS Administration. We are further protected by a stiff fine against anyone who would try to deprive you of any of your constitutional rights because you refuse to furnish this SS # to them unless it is under the authority of the Attorney General. Homeland Security has changed all that.

An interesting side note to this new mandate: Aliens are exempt from this legislation. The SS card is quickly becoming the national I.D. card, which may be compared to the national I.D. cards of Nazi Germany.

Think that’s something, think about what the futurists predict next: 1) A uni-card I.D. or driver’s license with all your banking information, medical records, and credit file rolled into one card. 2) An implanted computer chip that would contain all the above information that could be scanned at the grocery check out or by the state patrol. One Florida couple has already volunteered and has the chip in place (your dog or cat may have one already) 3) A retina scanning device that would be connected to a giant computer data base which would house all the above information. (I believe the Christian Bible refers to this as “The Beast” in the book of revelation.)
